Jeffrey "Jeff" Lee Carr

Jeffrey Lee Carr, known affectionately as Jeff to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024, in Greenville, SC. Born on April 3, 1957, in Ithaca, NY, Jeff was a man whose warmth and adventurous spirit touched the lives of many.

Jeff was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Henry Carr and Janice Fay Eldred Carr, his brother Jerry Carr, and his cherished grandchildren, Guilouse and Dakota Bush. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family, including his devoted wife, Michelle Agard Carr, with whom he shared countless treasured moments. Jeff's memory will be forever cherished by his brothers, Jim Carr (Kelly) and Jamey Carr (Robyn); his sons, Jonathon Carr, Daniel Carr (Bridgett), and Daniel Bush (Megg); his grandchildren, Dylan Wamsley-Moore (Abbey), Braylee Carr, Macaylah Carr, and Grace Carr; and his great-granddaughter, Ava Wamsley-Moore.

Jeff was a proud alumnus of Oxford Academy High School in Oxford, NY, where he received his high school diploma. His professional life was marked by his meticulous craftsmanship as a tool maker, a trade that he both mastered and respected. Jeff's work ethic and dedication to his craft were evident to all who knew him.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jeff was deeply involved with the Patriot Guard Riders of South Carolina, where he served as a mentor and ride captain.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeff found solace and joy in the simplicity of nature. Whether he was fishing in a tranquil lake, hunting in the woods, or tending to his garden, Jeff embraced the beauty of the natural world. These activities were not just hobbies for Jeff; they were a reflection of his love for life's simple pleasures.

Jeff's loving nature, friendly demeanor, and adventurous soul made him a beloved figure in his community. His ability to forge lasting friendships and his readiness to lend a helping hand were hallmarks of his character. 

As we bid farewell to Jeff, we celebrate a life lived with passion and kindness. His spirit of adventure and his love for his family will continue to inspire us. Jeff's legacy is one of love, friendship, and the courage to embrace life's journey with an open heart.

Jeff's life will be honored in a private ceremony, where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate the man who brought so much light into their lives. As the sun sets on a life well-lived, we take comfort in knowing that Jeff's spirit will continue to guide us.

Jeffrey Lee Carr's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the impact of his love and the memories he created will endure forever. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
