Fabrizio; fiancée, Resheda Bishop, and stepsons, Charlie Dixon, Jacob Dixon, Scott Dixon and Davis Dixon. He is also survived by his Uncle Alan Whitaker & Aunt Linda Whitaker of NC; Aunt Eva Nissen & Uncle Jim Nissen of FL; and many beloved cousins. Jeff was predeceased by his grandparents on both sides, as well as by multiple uncles and an aunt.
Jeff was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC and of Clemson University. After graduation, he became a Certified Public Accountant and was currently employed as the CFO at Cedar Ridge Landscaping. Previously, he had worked as a CPA in multiple sectors, including public, private and non-profit.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, who loved many activities including hiking, boating, skiing, snowboarding, rock-climbing and disc golf. The grass never grew under his feet. He was a grill master who cherished any opportunity to cook for those he loved, preferably on a smoker or charcoal grill; while he was a perfectionist about nearly everything, when it came to cooking, his enjoyment was as much in the journey as the result. Jeff loved all things Clemson, with football season at the top of the list, followed closely by basketball. His favorite time of year was fall, when he could bring together his loves of Clemson football and grilling to prepare an amazing feast for those he cherished.
During Jeff’s time at Clemson University, he became a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity which started its Clemson chapter in 1989 while he was a student. Jeff maintained very close bonds over the years with many of his fraternity brothers, in addition to other friends he made in both high school and college. His loyalty was evident in the efforts he made to stay in contact with many friends he had made over several decades. In fact, he was a founding member of the AEG (Always Epic Grill), in the role of El Jefe (The Boss) that regularly shared grill tips, recipes and life.
Jeff will be remembered most for his huge heart – he loved his family, his fiancée’, his stepsons, and his friends. A celebration of Jeff’s life will take place at Fellowship Greenville on Thursday, August 29th, 2024, at 3161 S Highway 14 Greenville, SC 29615.
