Jeananne Metskas

On May 9th, 2023, Jeananne Metskas left us to be with the Lord.
Jeananne fought her brain tumor over the last year-and-a-half with such incredible grace and maturity. She might have been fighting a losing battle, but you would have never known it. That joy, peace, and inviting spirit never left her as she fought. Despite her losses along the way, she still found the courage to smile and brighten your day; never losing that sense of humor and quick wit of hers. She had a heart capable of genuinely caring for the things that mattered most to us - she cared for us inside and out. She made people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. She found energy to sing when music played. She taught us not to take ourselves too seriously - and she took that very seriously. She was the embodiment of joy. If you could capture sunshine and put it in a person; that was Jeananne.

She has been an indescribable blessing in our lives. She trusted in the Lord and is eternally with Him
Jeananne leaves behind her parents; Mike & Shelley, her brother; Alex, her sister-in-law; Vanessa & her nephew; Emmitt.
