Jasmine Reed Dodson, 40, left her earthly home to be with God, on Monday, June 10, 2018. She was born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to Bob and Mary Reed of Arizona.
Jasmine was a graduate of Penn State University and she was a long-time teacher for the Greenville County School District at Greenbriar Elementary. She was to begin teaching 4k this coming school year. Jasmine had a huge desire to teach children and she was a strong advocate for early childhood education. Jasmine was a very big fan of Penn State and loved cheerleading. Of all of Jasmines passions in life, she was most passionate about Jesus. She spent many years traveling the world telling those of her love for Jesus and what he had done and continued to do in her life and through her.
Jasmine is survived by her three beautiful children, Grace McKenzie, age 8, Weyman Harrison, age 2, and Levi Mighty, age 11 months, and a stepdaughter Kelsey Dodson, age 16, whom she considered her greatest achievements. In addition to her children, she is survived by her husband of over a decade, Weyman H. Dodson, III, as well as her sister, Holly McCann of Arizona. She also has several nieces and nephews, Abby Tomberlin of Easley, Georganna Parker of Greer, Kaedance Dodson of Pickens, Kynnideigh Dodson of Pickens, two sisters-in-law, Kimberleigh Dodson and Callie Dodson, and two brothers-in-law, Byron Dodson of Pickens and Tyler McCann of Colorado.
