Janie Katherine Marshall

Janie K. Marshall, 73, of Greenville, SC passed away November 15, 2018. She was the daughter of the Ruth Geraldine Gipson and Howard Lee Marshall. Survivors include: Jorja Graves, David Marshall, Paul Marshall, and Ruth Gilmore. Janie was a graduate of Xenia High School Class of 1963 in Xenia Ohio, She also graduated in 1966 from Capitol City School of Nursing, Washington, DC.
She commissioned 2LT. USAF, July 5, 1967-October 7, 1968. Janie worked as a Registered Nurse in various hospitals in Florida, Washington State, Ohio, Washington Dc and North Carolina. She retired from Wake Medical in Raleigh, NC in 2010.
Janie was liked and respected by many colleagues outside of the hospital she dabbled in other pursuits most notably on a Ostrich Farm. After retirement she moved to Greenville, SC where she was active in the Dunean Mills Community Alliance.
