Janet's professional life was marked by her time at the Niskayuna Coop market. Later, she brought her hardworking and caring spirit to Parts Unlimited in Ballston Spa, where she retired after many years of dedicated service.
A woman of many passions, Janet was a diehard fan of General Hospital. Her love for her rescue cats was unmatched, and she found great joy in caring for them. Janet's love for the beach was well-known, with Clearwater, Florida, and York Beach, Maine, being among her favorite destinations. She embraced life with her "2-hour rule," insisting on taking time to enjoy the simple pleasures, much to her husband Tom's playful chagrin.

She shared a special bond with her sister Joan, united by their adoration for Elvis Presley. Their annual visits to Graceland for Joan's birthday were treasured traditions that brought them immense joy and laughter.
