Jane Marie Groomes, 65, wife of Duane Groomes of Seneca, SC, passed way Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Central, SC, Mrs. Groomes was the daughter of the late Weldon and Madge Haney. She worked at West Point Stevens, Jacobs, and Coviden. Mrs. Groomes was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Groomes loved her family, especially her grandchildren with all her heart.
Mrs. Groomes is survived by her husband Duane Groomes of Seneca, SC; son Joseph Johnson (Tracey) of Seneca, SC; step-daughters: Leighann Sherman (Jeremiah) of Walhalla, SC and Monica Groomes of Westminster, SC; seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Groomes is preceded in death by her son Jason Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Beverdam Baptist Church, Fair Play, SC.
