Jan Rollins

Jan Rollins, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, in Greer, South Carolina, at the age of 74. Born on October 19, 1949, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Jan's life was a testament to her thoughtful nature and her unwavering commitment to her family, her work, and her community.

Jan is lovingly remembered by her son, Jason Williams and his wife Kristen; her granddaughters, Emily Williams and Morgan Rollins; her stepdaughter, Stacey Wilson; and her brother, Anthony Mazzo. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Rollins, with whom she shared countless cherished memories.

For two decades, Jan dedicated her professional life to the American Cancer Society, where her compassion and dedication made a lasting impact on the lives of many. Her colleagues remember her as a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for both the staff and those the organization served.

Jan was deeply involved with the Washington Baptist Church, where she found great joy in fellowship and service. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and providing comfort and inspiration to those around her.

A lover of the simpler pleasures in life, Jan found solace in the timeless narratives of Hallmark Movies and the nostalgic allure of TV Land shows and classic TV reruns. These interests were more than mere pastimes; they were the lenses through which she connected with the world and shared moments of joy and laughter with her family and friends.

Those who knew Jan will forever remember her as the epitome of kindness, always putting others before herself. Her thoughtfulness was felt in every card she wrote, every meal she shared, and every comforting word she offered.
