James Michael Smith II

James Michael Smith II, known to all as Michael, was born on November 25, 1982, in Greenville, SC, and decided to stick around, passing away in the same city on August 8, 2023. The cause of his death remains as mysterious as his love for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Michael was a spirited, adventurous, and loving soul, who, despite not having an engineering degree from Georgia, could fix anything with his handyman skills. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, then fix your washing machine so you could clean it.

His love for music was only surpassed by his love for his family. He leaves behind his sister Stephanie Sanders, her kids Skyla and Chloe, and his brother Jason "Byrd" Smith, his wife Amber, and their kids Aaliyah, Isaac, Brianna, and Marissa.

Michael spent his life on an adventure, always searching, always exploring. He may have struggled to find himself, but he had no trouble finding the hearts of everyone he knew. His journey may have ended, but his spirit lives on, probably off somewhere laughing at us for being so serious.
