James Smith, 81, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. A native of Wilmington, NC, he was the son of the late Joseph and Willia Jones Smith. James lived most of his life in New York before moving to Greenville and obtaining his Master’s Degree in Business. He was a veteran of the US Army. Although a very private person, he would help anyone he could and enjoyed his life.
He is survived by a sister, Diane Smith, and several nieces and nephews, and 2 dogs that he dearly loved.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Wednesday, March 16 in the chapel of Westville Funerals.
