James (Jim) Wendell Reagan, 72, of Travelers Rest SC, passed away on Tuesday January 17th 2023 while at home after a long and brave battle with cancer. His wife Frankie, grandson D.J., Mila and loving members of his family were by his side. Jim was a long time Carpenter in and around Greenville for over 40 years and served as a fireman for Parker District for several years. In his later years he concentrated on his finer carpentry skills, enjoyed taking care of his chickens, watching football and westerns, tending to his beautiful yard and cutting his grass. He loved the Clemson Tigers, was one of their biggest fans and his blood definitely ran orange! His character of the heart was one of a kind to his family, friends, and sometimes even strangers. He was a good provider, witty, tough as nails, could always make you laugh, a great teacher of his craft, an animal and music lover, had a big heart and was someone who everyone liked being around. Jim was pre - deceased by his loving parents William and Jean Reagan and survived his wife Frankie, sister Sherri Bell, two daughters Carrie Reagan, Nicole Moon ( Nick), a grand- daughter Cassie Cruz ( Nick), and a special nephew Teddy Bonds ( Kimberly) who were all raised in the home, a niece Blair Roberts( Lewis Greer) and nephew Graham, grand kids Cassie, Bonnie, D.J., Destinee, Nicholas, Cory, Embree, and several great grand kids. Special thanks to Marvin and Deborah Silvers who helped Jim on his spiritual final journey and thanks to Roger Bryant for his kindness and friendship over the years. Thanks to Prisma Health for all their help, time and care.
Services for his celebration of life will be Friday January 27th 2023 at 1:00pm.
