James (Jimmie) Leo Price, 70, of Greenville, SC, passed away on January 26, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1953 in Darlington, SC. Jim, known for his wit, caring nature, and loyalty, had a passion for his dogs and loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals. He enjoyed meeting with friends and always brought joy to those around him.
Jim is survived by his loving spouse, Standish Anderson Price, his stepdaughter Meghann McAbee Reeves (Troy), his sisters Patricia Price Bailey and Nancy Price Purvis, and his nephews Rhett Bailey (Charlie), Curt Bailey (Jennifer), Jamie Purvis (Nikki), and Jason (Allie). He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law Richard Bailey and Larry Purvis, his father Leo Curtis Price, and his mother Mary Eunice Severance Price.
Jim attended St. John's High School and later pursued higher education at Francis Marion University. He had a successful career as a Systems Analyst in the insurance industry.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 pm, followed by a memorial service and eulogies at 2:30. The funeral services will be arranged by Westville Funerals, located in Greenville, SC at 6010 White Horse Road.
Jim will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
