James Douglas Loveall

Doug (Spike) Loveall passed with a smile into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
He lived a vibrant life of seventy-two years leaving many smiles on the faces of all who met him.
Doug is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Waid Loveall – the love of his life and
soulmate. He is also survived by his son Mathew Loveall and his wife Catherine, and two
grandchildren Evelyn and Elijah. Other surviving family members include his mother, 3 brothers
and two sisters, and thousands of hearts filled with happy memories.
Known for his wit, wisdom and grand sense of humor, Doug oozed wry sarcasm. A hole
will be left in the soul of all who knew him.
As an entrepreneur Doug co-founded Envirosafe, a state-of-the-art business in Louisville,
Kentucky. His ability to find solutions to challenging situations came from his honesty, integrity,
and sense of excellence.
His faith in Jesus left a legacy evident to all who knew Doug. He talked the talk and
walked the walk in the way of the Lord, living every day to the max even with serious chronic
health issues.
Doug is now breathing easy with no more pain or struggles in this life. His everyday
living displayed moral courage and sound judgement that could only come from a complete trust
in God’s Word, the Holy Bible. We miss his presence but look forward to laughing with him
again in heaven.
