James “Jim” Robertson, 65, of Greenville, SC, passed away Friday, March 31st. Born in Motherwell, Scotland, he was the son of the late James and Catherine Weir Robertson.
A graduate of the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, Jim was an esteemed and dedicated Architect. For over 30 years, Jim worked at Fluor Corporation as Technical Director in Facilities Integration. He was dedicated to his craft and traveled across the globe along the way.
Jim was a stable and loving force in every life he touched. He enjoyed playing soccer, golf, playing cards, reading, traveling, and spending time with his daughters, grandson, and wife. In his spare time he loved relaxing in his home and away from home in Brevard, North Carolina.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jette Robertson; three daughters, Bonnie Gerlaugh, Haley Robertson (Kenny Driggers), and Phoebe Robertson; two sisters Eileen Purdie (Ricky Purdie), and Catherine Robertson; grandson, Arlo Gerlaugh; and nieces Lauren Holmear (Jamie Holmear), and Denise Drysdale.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Jim on Sunday, April 16th at his home with his close family and friends.
