James is survived by his loving wife, Patricia B. Hall, and their children: Stephanie Hall; Jamie Hall Stanley (Rickey); Woody N. Hall; James Alexander Hall (Kasi); and Michael A. Hall (Cameron). He also leaves behind his brothers, John and Jerry Hall, and his cherished grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and love. James is predeceased by his parents and sisters whose memories he held close to his heart.
James earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, which paved the way for a distinguished career. He spent the majority of his professional life as a Lead Engineer for 3M's film division and also made significant contributions as a Production Engineer. His analytical nature and intelligence were evident in the innovative solutions he brought to complex engineering challenges. Colleagues respected him for his wisdom and mentorship, and many considered James not just a coworker but a true friend.
Outside of his professional life, James had a passion for golf, which he played with the same precision and focus that he applied to his work.
