James “Jim” Farrell
February 28, 1946 — February 15, 2022
James “Jim” J. Farrell, 75, just recently of Simpsonville, passed away on February 15, 2022. A native of Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Timothy and Marie Bray Farrell. He and Linda lived in Hollidaysburg, PA for over 35 years. Jim served in the US Navy and was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post 271. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, playing golf, and being active in several organizations, including the Moose, Eagles, Elks Lodge, Bavarian Club, and Heidelberg Country Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, John Farrell.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Farrell; children, Victor (Amanda) James Farrell and Kimberly ((Kenneth) Anne Yates; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Andre, and Jack and siblings, Michael (Annette) Farrell and Cecilia (Walter) Bloom.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post 271, PO Box 828, Mauldin, SC 29662.
