James Donald Edwards "Lou"

James Donald Edwards, "Lou", 84, of Greenville, SC passed away on July 31, 2022. Born in Arkansas he was the son of the late George Wade Edwards, Sr. and Myrtle Alice Louisa Black he spent most of his life growing up in Georgetown, SC.
James was predeceased by his wife, Michelle Hopkins Edwards and one son, Robert Wade Edwards.
Survivors include one daughter, Alice McCall (Frankie), one granddaughter, Gracie and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
He served in the US ARMY. He attended Bethel Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Lou was an Electrical Supervisor for Flour Corporation where he was an avid traveler. With his position he made many friends who became like family. After his retirement he spent most of his time with his granddaughter Gracie and helping her with her many activities.
James enjoyed fishing and the beach he had a contagious smile that was loved by so many.
At this time there are no service arrangements to announce. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, SC.
