J. Arnold Davis of Taylors, SC passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. The son of the late Leila Mae Pittman Davis, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherril Riddle.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Mary Alexander Davis; 2 daughters, Sheila Painter of Taylors and Debra Head of Piedmont; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, August 11, 2017 at Westville Funeral Home, 6010 Whitehorse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC 29673 following the service. The family will reside at the family home
