James Edward Childress

February 21, 1950 — May 27, 2023

James Edward Childress died peacefully at home on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Surviving immediate family: Louise Hayes of Austin, Texas; step-mother Charlotte Childress of Powdersville, SC; and half-sister Frankie Bramlett of Anderson, SC. Jim was predeceased by his first wife Terry Childress and second wife, Ann Childress.

Jim was retired from a career of service in the Army. He was proud of his service to our country and we are thankful to him for his life of service.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
