James Michael Beard

James Michael Beard, 82, died peacefully at the Richard M. Campbell Veteran’s Nursing Home in Anderson, S.C. Saturday, November 13, after a difficult spinal surgery and a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, JoAnn Beard, his two children, Chris Beard and Stacey Karesh, who all reside in Greenville, S.C. As a U.S. Marine, Jim proudly served his country, and he was a loving husband and devoted father. At his request, he was cremated and honored at a private ceremony for the immediate family in Greenville and he will also be honored at a mass at Holy Cross Church in Rumson NJ, Christmas day. Jim will be missed by many close friends, and of course deeply, by his loving family.
