Born on March 5, 1943, in the close-knit community of Pea Ridge, NC, Jack's friendly demeanor, wisdom, and analytical mind were evident from an early age. Known for his unwavering integrity and generous spirit, Jack's life was a testament to the values he held dear.

Jack dedicated two decades of service to the United States Navy and then completed his education with an Associate's Degree. His commitment to his country was matched only by his passion for electronics, which paved the way for a successful career as an electronics engineer. In this role, he not only excelled professionally but also made lasting contributions to the field.

Jack's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Michelle Banning, and her husband, Ronnie; his son, Jack A. Taylor; his loving sisters, Fannie Arledge and her husband, James, and Hazel "Bo" Bowyer and her husband, Robert; his brother, Eddie Taylor; his adored grandchildren, Johnny Banning, Jody "J.R." Roberts and his wife, Elizabeth, Charles Taylor, and Brady Cannon and his wife, Alli; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Abel, Aeson, and Arabella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews
