Ira Clarence Paulk

Ira Clarence Paulk, 74, of Taylors, passed away on July 3, 2021. Born in Valdosta, GA. he was the son of Ira Clarence Paulk, Sr. and Lillian Hill Paulk.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Paulk of the home, one daughter, Jennifer McCarthy, two sisters; Judy (Sonny) Power and Jane Bailey also a brother-in-law Tom (Sharon) Fisher. He is also survived by his step-children; Jeff Cobb (Gina), Matt Cobb (Suzanne), Andy Cobb (Jennifer), Betsy Quattlebaum (Adam), and ten grandchildren.
Ira worked for State Farm insurance for over fifty years, he enjoyed golf, hiking, UGA Football, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church for over forty years and a Veteran of the US NAVY.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm July 10, 2021, at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 4999 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors, SC, 29687. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 pm at the church.
