Imogene R Boggs

Imogene Sentell Boggs of Greenville returned to her heavenly home on October 23, 2017 at the age of 83. Imogene was born on April 26, 1934. She is the daughter of predeceased parents, James Claude and Rozella Sentell. She is also predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. She has one surviving sister, Catherine Pickens, 93, of Pelzer. Jean is the widow of, Paul Lafoy Boggs. They were joined in marriage for 35 years.
Imogene was blessed with a large loving family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She and Paul raised seven children: Michael Boggs (Jeanie), Dorothy Darnell (Robert), Donna Wilson (Paul), Jerry Boggs (predeceased), Peggy King (Ron), Karen Bowen, and Kim Boggs. In addition to her children, Imogene is called Granny by many family members including 13 grandchildren: Tammy, Michelle, Robin, Greg, Sheena, Daniel, Savannah (expecting a great granddaughter), Ashley, Tyler, Trista, Kattie, Josh, and Brooke, as well as 15 great grandchildren: Preston, Hannah, McKenzie, Abby, Spencer, Reagan, Harper, Haiden, Christian, Ethan, Landon, Emma (predeceased), Kylie, Mikah, and Sophia.
The visitation and funeral will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Tremont Church of God located at 2854 New Easley Highway, Greenville. The visitation begins at 1 pm followed by the service at 2 pm. Burial will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens immediately after the service.
The family is at 256 Reeves Street, Greenville.
