Hugh Allen Simmons

Hugh Allen Simmons, son of Hubert and Sarah Simmons, 57 of Belton went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 30, 2017. He is survived by his wife Chris Haulbrook Simmons, daughters Taylor Simmons of Greenwood,SC, Shannon Simmons of Conway, Shawna Knight of Anderson, Kayla Johnson of North Carolina, Nikki Johns of Texas, three grandchildren, E. J. Wilkinson, Kaden Johns, and Paris Maxwell. He is survived by sisters Ann Parks of Florence and Nena Thomason of Lexington. He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Jimmy Simmons, Terry Simmons and sister Leathea Bowman. Hugh retired as a sergeant from the Greenwood County Sheriffs department where he served as the DARE and school resource officer for Greenwood County Schools. Services will be Thursday, November 2 at Harmony United Methodist Church, Ware Shoals, SC. Visitation will be held in the fellowship hall from 12:00 - 1:30 with a memorial service at 2:00.
