Hugh Fredenburg

Hugh Fredenburg, devoted Jehovah Witness, passed away on July 6 2024. He was 80 years old. He was born in Walworth NY on June 25,1944 to the Late Elizabeth and Howard Fredenburg. He spent most of his life living in New York before moving down to Greenville, SC.

He is survived by his children, Nancy Lind, Darin Fredenburg (Penny Levos), Donna Keysor, Gwen (Rich Stonecypher), and his 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, John Fredenburg (the late Karen Fredenburg), and Ross Fredenburg (Lynne), sister-in-law, Hillary Fredenburg (the Late Thomas Fredenburg), and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Thomas Fredenburg.

He worked for many years as a car appraisal for Liberty Mutual and in his later years before retiring being a maintenance supervisor for different apartment complexes. 

Hugh was drafted into the Army and serviced our country in the Vietman War. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing with his friends and his son, Darin. He had a Strong believe for Jehovah and always helping his fellow brothers and sisters of the congregation. 

Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, at 2 PM, at Kingdom Hall, 300 East Belvue Rd, Taylors, SC 29687. Private services will be held for the family in New York.
