Howard Douglas Wray

Howard Douglas Wray of Piedmont, SC went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2020. Born in Maryville, TN 1937 to the late Felix and Alyene Wray.
Doug was a member of Freedom Fellowship Baptist Church, Moonville, SC. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railways. After retirement he enjoyed 13 years of fall-time RV-ing, working as a character at Dollywood, and 3 years being the “real Santa Claus” in Pembroke Pines, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Alice Fay, his children Trina L Wray; Amy L Thompson (Tim); Patrick L Wray (Tracey). Grandchildren Kayla (Brandon); Britt (Lisa); Jaime (Brandon); Carey (Katlyn); Justin (Amanda); Chase, Jessie, Chris, and Emma. Great-Grandchildren Logan, Hayden, Hannah, Robin, and Bonnie Faye. He was preceded in death by daughter Robin L McCurry (Ken) and granddaughter Kyle Lynn.
Graveside services will be held at Grove Station Baptist Church cemetery on Nov. 27, 2020, 10:00 am.
