Howard Pleasant McClure

Howard Pleasant McClure, 82, Greenville, SC passed on September 29, 2020 at his residence. He was the beloved son of Howard Pleasant McClure Sr. and the late Ida Deen Shell in San Francisco, CA on June 26, 1938. Howard leaves behind his beloved wife Nancy McClure of 59 years; children: Jeffrey S. McClure and Gregory C. McClure; brother William L. McClure; grandchildren: Parker J. McClure, Morgan D. McClure, Nicholas W. McClure, and Rylee D. McClure. He was retired after 30 years from Corning Glass Works as the Regional Sales Manager. Hap was an avid and expert fisherman and loved pheasant hunting with Jessie, his Brittany Spaniel. He was a graduate of Gettysburg College and the Marine Corps Officer's Candidate School. After serving a three year tour of duty he left the Marine Corps as a Captain. Hap was a member of the Morrow Memorial Methodist Church where he and Nancy were married in Maplewood, N.J,. Howard may have left this earth but he will be forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
