He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Ernestine Stabler Ott, his brother, Edwin Davis Ott, and his sister, Emmie Ruth Ott. His memory will be treasured and kept alive by his loving daughters, Mona Louise Ott and Rebecca Ott Harley, his son-in-law, Bill Harley, his nephew, Edwin D. Ott, his nephew, Rev. Burton Ott, and his niece, Kathy Ott Prior.

Henry served three years in the United States Army, after finishing his service, He graduated with a BS in Business from Newberry College, Henry embarked on a successful career in packaging sales. He dedicated 42 years to Milliken & Co, where he was not only respected for his work ethic but also adored for his ever-present smile and quick wit. His colleagues often remarked that Henry could lighten the mood of any meeting with his humor and that his presence was a gift to the workplace.

Henry's passion for life extended beyond his professional achievements. An avid golfer, he could often be found on the greens, sharing jokes with his golfing buddies and perfecting his swing. His love for Clemson sports was unmatched, and he rarely missed a game, cheering on his team with fervor and pride.
