Helen was the loving wife of the late James Simpson and a devoted mother to her son, Marion Robertson, and her late daughter, Debra Simpson Johnson. She was a cherished grandmother to Christopher and Cindy Johnson, and a doting great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren. Helen was the last surviving sibling of her family, predeceased by her brothers Ferlon and Woody Durham, and her sisters Evelyn Hart, Williemae Lee, Irene Stancel, Mary Medlin, Sylvia Hunt, and Margaret Durham. She is also survived by her sister, Margie Underwood.
