Helen "Mema" Jean Brown

Helen "Mema" Jean Brown, of Greer, SC passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. Born in Greer, SC to the late Mr. Lonnie Crisp and Laura Pressley Crisp. She is survived by her daughter Laurie (Shane) Westmoreland of Taylors, SC, granddaughter Amber (Devin) Burrell of Travelers Rest, SC. She is predeceased by a sister Louise and five brothers Carol, Landy, Frank, William, and Thomas.
Helen will be remembered as one of the kindest people you will have ever met, putting others first. She loved the Lord, her family, and the beach, as well as trips to Cherokee, NC.
As a grandmother, Helen's joy was spending time with her granddaughter! They enjoyed shopping together and shared a passion for the beach. That special bond always sent Amber away with the message " I love you better than butter"
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Funeral services under the direction of The Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals.
