Mrs. Helen Fay Bumgardner

Mrs. Helen Fay Bumgardner, 81, of Landrum, SC, died Sunday, November 11, 2018. She was the daughter of the Arthur Ballard of Johnson City and Tilda Mae Newman-Ackerknecht of Tryon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Bumgardner of Canton, NC.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Williamson of Maggie Valley, NC and her son, Paul Vincent, granddaughter Cheyenne and great granddaughter Imogen all of Greenville, SC; there are numerous cousins as well.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00pm Friday, November 16, 2018 at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church, 2850 Hunting Country Road, Tryon, NC. The Rev. Curtis Jones will officiate. There will not be a formal visitation.
