Hailey Storme Sanders

Hailey Storme Sanders, known affectionately as Hailey Storme, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2023, in Cowpens, South Carolina, at the age of 22. Born on April 11, 2001, in Spartanburg, SC, she was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her.

Hailey was the cherished daughter of Priscilla Ann Sanders and Roy Wayne Sanders, and a loving sister to Justin L. Sanders. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, including her beloved daughter Neveah Jade Ballenger, who was the apple of her eye. She was a treasured niece to Cynthia & Roy Bishop and Sarah Beth Gerhard, and a dear cousin to Taylor Brianna and Kerstin Trevor. Her Uncle Roger Poole, along with grandparents Brittinie, Brandon, Nikki, Brenda, Jack Sanders, and Roxanne Turner, will fondly remember Hailey's vibrant spirit and loving nature.

A proud graduate of Broome High School, Hailey's intelligence and wisdom were evident in her academic achievements and her interactions with others. She was a dedicated member of the Lake Springs Baptist Church, where she was involved in various community and church activities, embodying the spirit of service and fellowship.

Hailey's interests were a reflection of her outgoing personality and love for life. She had a passion for singing, a talent she often shared with her church and community. Her love for the outdoors was unmistakable, as she cherished the times spent fishing with her Papa and grandparents. Swimming was another of Hailey's favorite pastimes, a testament to her love for water and the simple joys of life.

Those who knew Hailey will remember her as a loving individual whose presence could light up a room. Her intelligence was matched only by her wisdom, which seemed beyond her years. Hailey's ability to connect with people, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by all.
