Gwendolyn May Cason Murrell

Gwendolyn May Cason Murrell, 79, of 220 Murrell Road, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Marshall and May Cason. She was retired from J.P. Stevens Parker Plant and was a member of Grove Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Murrell; brother-in-law, Jimmy Tollison; and sister-in-law, Linda Cason.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Kevin) Clardy; grandsons, Jonah (Cassie) Morgan and Erik (Rebecca) Clardy; granddaughter, Jordan Clardy; sisters, Annette (Bobby) Wade, Norma (Wayne) Hall, and Linda Tollison; brother, Gary Cason and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, September 19th at Grove Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday, October 22, 2021, at Graceland West.
