Gwen Harris Hancock

Gwen Harris Hancock, 81, of Greenville, SC went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 4th, 2021. She was the daughter of the late James Lewis and Melzie Reynolds Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Jackson Powell and her husband Fred Powell; her granddaughter, Natasha Freeman and her husband Thomas Freeman; her great grandson, Hunter Freeman; her sisters, Gwyneda Jolly and Joan Hall of Gaffney, SC; her brothers, Lemuel Harris of Fort Mill, SC and Albert Harris of Hampton, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Hancock; her daughter, Shelia Hooper; her sisters, Kathleen Spencer and Mildred White and her brother, James Lewis Harris Jr.
She was a member of Truth Missonary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends there on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 from 1pm-2pm, followed by the service. The burial will follow at 3pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
