He was born on August 16, 1970, in Newberry, South Carolina, to the late Grover and Francis Bright. Grover was a devoted husband and is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Bright. Although life took them on separate paths, he was also survived by his long-time girlfriend, Helen Walker, who remained a significant presence in his life. Grover had a big heart, and his relationships were an important part of his journey.
Family meant the world to Grover, and he was a proud and dedicated father. He leaves behind his children: James Bright, DJ Medlin, Christina Medlin (Ira), Jamie Medlin (Chris), Michael Weeks, and Maranda Medlin. Each of them holds precious memories of their time with their father and will forever carry his love in their hearts.
Grover was a caring and supportive brother to his sibling, Brad Bright, and sister-in-law Felisha. Their bond was unbreakable, and they shared many adventures and cherished moments together. He was also survived by his Aunt Judy, who held a special place in his heart.

Grover was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Francis Bright, and his beloved son, Bobby Bright. The loss of Bobby, as well as his sisters Renee Bright and Barbara Bright, undoubtedly left an indelible mark on Grover's life, and their memories will forever be cherished.
