Grace Proffitt Callaham

Grace Proffitt Callaham, an Amazing Grace of Greenville, was called home to receive her wings Saturday, April 14, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Moody G. Proffitt and Sue B. Proffitt.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Eugene Callaham, Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Paige C. Waters, (Ronald F. Waters) of Greer, a son Walter E. Callaham, Jr. “Chip” of Greenville, a brother, Charles Proffitt of Greenville, a sister, Hazel Breeding of Florida, and two grandchildren; Chloe and Davis Callaham of Greenville, Also her special guardian angel, her caregiver Maurice Hamilton.
Mrs. Callaham was a long-time employee and retiree of Greenville County Schools, also a Furman University Graduate. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver Maurice Hamilton.
Services will be 1:00PM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Edwards Road Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to Edwards Road Baptist Church.
