Gordon Bryson Turner Jr., affectionately known as Gordon, passed away peacefully at his home on January 21, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on July 26, 1962, in Sanford, Florida, Gordon was a man of humor, adventure, and courage.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Angie Turner of Pickens, South Carolina; his mother, Penelope Turner of Central, South Carolina; his dear sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Jim Hardin of Cleveland, South Carolina; his cherished sons, Grayson MacRae Turner and Noah Kinsman Turner; his treasured grandson, Daniel Turner; and his devoted niece and nephews, Audrey Seawright, Kevin Hardin, and Chris Hardin, all from Cleveland, South Carolina.
Gordon’s zest for life was evident in his love for the great outdoors, where he thrived as an avid hunter, fisherman, and true outdoorsman. His culinary skill and love for good food were matched by his talent as a musician. Above all, Gordon’s deep faith and love for the Lord were central to his life. His infectious laughter and fearless spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
