Gladys was a military spouse, a role she held with pride, supporting her beloved husband, Richard A. Treece, who predeceased her, side by side. Her love for being a mother was her most cherished role, a love that extended beyond her own family, touching many a soul.
Survived by her son, Michael R. Treece of Greer, SC, and her daughters, Sharon L. Lynn of Lake Lure, NC, and V Treece of Columbia, SC, Gladys leaves behind a legacy of love. Her grandchildren, Lacy Strange, Rosemary Hutchins, Shannon Treece, Aimee Treece, and Eric Treece, and her seven great-grandchildren, will remember her fondly, as they look upon the stars above.
