Gertrude B. Tourtellot, 86, passed away September 8, 2016. She was the younger daughter of Gustov and Gertrude Beiswenger.
Gertrude 'Trude' was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. She graduated from Chatham College. Trude was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Carl Thurston Tourtellot, Jr.; and her sister, Eleanor.
Immediate family members include her son, Peter and his wife Torie of Liberty; her daughter, Margaret Tambling and her husband Todd of Chester. Additionally is survived by six grandchildren, a great granddaughter; along with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at the home of her daughter, Margaret at 1 PM on Saturday, the 17th of September, 2016. The home is located at 2310 Gill Jordan Rd., Chester, SC. All are invited. A private family service will take place on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH at a later date. Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals www.cremation-sc.com
