She was born on May 19, 1952, in Tryon, North Carolina, to her loving parents, the late Ellis and Isabelle Ravan. Geraldine's journey came to a serene close in Greer, South Carolina, surrounded by the warmth of her cherished memories and the love of her family.
Geraldine's life was a rich tapestry of love, courage, and gentleness. She was a beacon of strength and kindness, always putting others before herself and facing life's challenges with admirable bravery. Her journey through life was marked by her dedication to her family, her passion for her work in the textile industry, and her love for simple pleasures, such as a good game of Bingo.
She is survived by her son, Scotty Price. Geraldine's loving spirit will be fondly remembered by her brother, Donald Revan, and his wife, Ellen, who cherished the bond they shared. She was a beloved grandmother to Wesley and Silas Allison, Taylor Price and Karissa Brown, who will hold their memories of her close to their hearts. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and great grandchildren that she adored.
Though Geraldine was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Brown, her son Carrol-Bo Price, her siblings Jerry Revan, Jenny Cole, and Kathleen Lynch, and her husband, Basil Shields, the legacy of love and resilience they all shared lives on through those who knew and loved Geraldine.
