Georgia Belle Jackson Burgess

Georgia Belle Jackson Burgess, 84, Boiling Springs, SC. passed away on February 17, 2021, at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg, SC. She was the beloved daughter of the late Maxi and Reatha B. Jackson, born in Laurel Hill, NC, on July 15, 1935. Georgia is survived by her sons: Michael Burgess (Susan) of Surfside Beach, SC and Randall Burgess of Spartanburg, SC; daughters: Deloris Gallier of Spartanburg, SC, and Donna Boan (Dewayne) of Cheraw, SC; sister: Barbara Jean Black (Bob) of Maine; grandchildren: Brian Burgess, Alex Gallier, Sean Gallier, Jerry Allen Robinson, Chad Burgess, Zach Burgess, Nikki Robinson Leviner, Candance Burgess Leviner, and Amanda Burgess Bolin; and sixteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; cherished husband Herman E. Burgess; son: Frankie Burgess, sisters: Evelyn Jackson, Mary Jacobs, Katie McConnel; brother: Houston Barker; grandson: Jason Burgess; great-granddaughter: Grayson Robinson. She retired from many years of working in the retail sales industry and enjoyed spending most of her time with her friends and family. Georgia may have left this earth but she will be forever missed and remembered by the ones left behind. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Richmond Memorial Park, 1717 E. Broad Ave, Rockingham NC 28379.
