George Michael Tadros, 75, of Roebuck, SC, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 in Spartanburg, SC. Born on February 24, 1942 in Cairo, Egypt, he lived in South Carolina briefly and had previously lived in Hanover Park, Illinois. He was a humble entrepreneur that enjoyed mentoring employees. He will be remembered for going above and beyond in most of what he did. He successfully lead many startups that are still in operation. He will be remembered as a man who was kind and quiet and was known for helping others. He enjoyed serving in the Coptic Orthodox Church and spending time outdoors. George was also a strong supporter of innovation. He served his country proudly as an officer in the Egyptian Military.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Nagia Tadros; his young brother; his brother in law, Dr. Mark Boulos and his sisters in law, Colianta Boulos, Elizabeth Boulos, Jeanette Boulos and Jonah Boulos. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Beta G. Tadros of Roebuck, SC; his daughter, Mary Ann Tadros and her husband, Adib Isaac of Bartlett Illinois; Michael G. Tadros and his wife, Joyce of Duncan, South Carolina; his brothers, Dr. Fawzi Tadros and Raouf Tadros; his sisters, Fawzia Fanous, Hekma Tadros and Elham McGowen; his cousins, Joseph Tadros, Robert Tadros, Amgad Tadros, Marceille Tadros and Suzanne Tadros; his grandchildren, Matthew Alvarez and Alexandria Tadros; His sister in law, Awatif Boulos. George is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services to remember and honor George’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 507 South Main Street, Mauldin, SC. Father Shenuda Morkos will officiate. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow the services at Greenville Memorial Gardens in Piedmont.
