George was the cherished son of the late Myrtle O'Bryant/Dillard and Elmer O'Bryant. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Lucille O'Bryant, and a proud father to his daughter, Debra Holden. His legacy continues through his granddaughters, Karaline and Sierra O'Bryant, and his grandson, Mason Mason. George was a beloved brother to Mildred Brownlee, Angie Newman, Doris Elder, and Jack O'Bryant. He was predeceased by his step-son, Thomas Mason, and his grandson, Jon Thomas Turner.

After completing his education at Clemson College, George embarked on a life dedicated to the land as a farmer, nurturing the soil and providing for his community. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the CEO of two successful companies in Jacksonville and Virginia.
