George Russell Garland, 37, (Rusty) of 110 Kathrine st Marietta SC 29661 passed away at his home on May 22nd, 2021 unexpectedly. Rusty was born on February 13th, 1984 in Greenville SC. He was the son of the late Robert Joe Garland Sr (Bob) and Kathy Ann Russell of Marietta. He is survived by three brothers; Robert Joe Garland Jr( Angela, Devin, Kody),
Ronnie Dale McCall Jr (Debra, Abby, Emily), Jason Mark Garland (Jodi Winchester), along with several Aunts and Uncles and loving friends. He worked as a small engine repairman and had an undying love for quad riding and racing. He loved to fish and most of all he just loved to be around family and friends. The funeral service will be June 1st, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Hilltop Baptist Church 1401 Geer Hwy., Travelers Rest, SC 29690. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Challanges Inc. 103 Clair Dr. Suite C. Piedmont, SC 29673 or challengesinc.org under Rusty Garland.
There will be a visitation after service in the dining hall of Hilltop Church anyone wanting to bring food, drinks, etc can do so on the day of service just take it to the dining hall before service.
*If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
