Gene Phillips

Gene Phillips lost his battle with Cancer on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the age of 74. He was the son of Benjamin Phillips and Florine ( Lollis ) Phillips. He was a native of Newberry, South Carolina. Gene was a very loving husband, father and friend. He worked as a manufacturing engineer and he had several hobbies including gold mining, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Phillips; two daughters, Dodie Redding and Melissa Seibel; his son, Josh Seibel; four grandchildren, Brianna Stansberry, Owen Stansberry, Cameron Bishop and Olivia Seibel; one great granddaughter, Adalyn Escobar; his brother, Benjamin Phillips, II; his sister, Bertha Phillips.

Services will be held privately among the family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to assist the family.
