Gary Smith

Gary Smith, 74, of Greenville, SC, passed away on September 3, 2021. He was the beloved son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Bertha Mae Smith, born in Greenville, SC, on September 19, 1946. Gary is survived by his daughter Nedra Fritz-Jenkins (Tim), sister Laura Drummond, beloved fiancé Pearl Thompson, grandchildren Teyona Fritz and Kailis Jenkin, nephews Tracy Howard and Robert Smith, and a host of great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother John A. Smith. Gary was graduated in the class of ’62 at St. Anthony’s and the class of ’66 at Sterling High School both of Greenville, SC. He spent his career as a dental technician and enjoyed collecting old cars. He will be missed and loved by the friends and family he left behind.
