Gary Durham

On January 24, 2022, Gary Lee Durham, 69, of Easley, left this world for his eternal home. There he was reunited with his parents, Lee and Frances Durham, and his siblings, Ray Durham and Lea Ann Durham.
Gary is survived by his wife, Eileen Durham, whom he loved dearly. Eileen affectionately cared for him until the very end. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Chris ( Elizabeth) Durham of Rogersville, Tennessee; two daughters, Susie (Brent) Simmons of Sunset, Virginia (Sean ) Cassell of Pickens; two stepsons, Paul (Niki) Ruske of England, Dean Ruske of Belton; his grandchildren Zachary Ruske, Hannah Simmons, Haley Simmons, Amber Ruske, Rachael Ruske, and Zoe Ruske; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Ruske; a favorite and most treasured aunt, JoAnn Yeargin of Taylors.
Gary loved hunting and storytelling in the company of his faithful friends, but most of all he was extremely proud and loved spending time with his family. God gave Gary a big heart to love others well and an impeccable gift of iron-working. He was talented beyond measure. He will be greatly missed.
The family will have a personal celebration of life at a later date.
