Garry Lee Kammerer

It is with great sadness that the family of Garry Lee Kammerer, 73, announces his passing on August 20, 2020 at the home surrounded by family.
Born in Newport, KY, he was the son of the late Germaine "Haysie" Kammerer. He served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War as a medic.
Surviving are his beloved wife Janice Lindsey Kammerer; two sons, Jason Landau (Christina) Kammerer of Spartanburg, and Travis Clayton (Vicki) Kammerer of Pickens, a goddaughter, Heather Rose (Jason) Welch; and grandchildren, great grandchildren and other loving family members.
There will be a small private family service at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 739 North Main Street, Mauldin, SC 29662, on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 3:30 pm.
The family will receive guests at the home following the service at 74 Pleasantdale Circle, Greenville, SC 29607.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.
