Garry Lee Gossett
“Goose,”
was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully Sunday, December 24th, 2017 at his home. He was born Thursday June 23rd, 1949 to his parents; the late Ralph and Jessie Mae Gossett.
Garry graduated from DW Daniel High School and attended Anderson College. He served his country with honor in the United States Airforce, Coast Guard and then in the Army Reserves. Garry also served his community as a Reserve Officer in the Pendleton Police Department. He retired as a supervisor from the Michelin-Sandy Springs Plant.
Mr. Gossett will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Irene Frances Geisel Gossett, as well as his children; Jaml Gossett and his fiancée Brandy, Daniel Gossett (Jesse), Amanda Gossett Freeman (Mack), and Matthew Gossett. A special Aunt Wilma Kelly, his sister Joyce Gossett Bolding (Sam), 1 nephew, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and special friends Jerry and Johnnie Sosebee are also feeling the loss.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his special uncle and aunt; JD and Sarah Gossett.

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday 27th, 2017 at 2pm at Faith Fellowship, 2230 Old Greenville HWY(HWY 88), Pendleton, SC 29670.
