Frederick Gregory “ Gravy “ Thurston

Frederick Gregory “ Gravy “ Thurston, 59, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed away at his home in Piedmont. Born on September 20, 1958 in Greenville, South Carolina to his parents, Henry Thurston and Janice Lucille (Reid) Thurston. He was a lifelong resident of the upstate and he worked as a bailing processor in the textile industry. He enjoyed growing vegetables and flowers and previously he enjoyed tinkering with model cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his girlfriend’s grandchildren.

Greg is preceded in death by his mother; his sisters, Joan Breasaw and Cathy Worsham. Those who will most cherish his memory are his sister, Lisa C. Aiken of WIlliamston, South Carolina; his girlfriend and caretaker, Rhonda Lunsford of Piedmont; his nieces, Carrie Brown, Stacy King and Kelly Worsham; his nephews, Shane Thurston and Tyler Worsham; his girlfriend’s grandchildren, Jessie Faye Cox, Tommy Cox and Skyler Cox; his great nieces, Britney King, Ava King and Riley; his great nephews, Tyson King and Jordan King.
